Day 21 - Vik to Hafnarfjordur
We dieseled up in Vik (another $300 to fill the tank from almost empty) and headed back north. It was a stunner of a day, warm (about 15 degrees) sunny and with very little wind, making it feel warmer than a 15 degree day in winter at home.

We stopped in Hella for the loo and I bought a black sandwich with salmon for lunch.
B requested we swing by the camp site where we packed everything before the L trail hike. She had a hunch that the charging cable for her Garmin had been dropped on the grass. We returned to the space where we had camped and had a walk about.

We meandered our way to SeltĂșn, another geo-thermal area that is much better there Geysir, and with way less people.

We stopped for lunch, my black roll was delicious. I think the black is from using activated charcoal in the dough.

Here's some pix from SeltĂșn.
We have camped in Hafnarfjordur where there seems to be a Dacia Duster convention happening. These cars are EVERYWHERE here, the rental car companies obviously got a job lot of them. We are frequently stuck behind them going less that the 90k speed limit. One drove in today with orange webbing wrapped around the entire car like a parcel ribbon, obviously needed to stop the roof top tent from flying off.

We are right next to a playground and there is a disc golf (frisbee) area with various challenges.
